1 hour doodle with war reference

drawing of Emily Browning from Series of Unfortunate Events. Happy with the results but again, no feel of any style from this artwork. spent 5 hours trying to follow every detail.

Fruits

this time its a bunch of fruits, same approach. 3hours.

Apple

looking at real apple and layering it behind to draw is easy, but just looking it as reference and drawing manually is a different thing, didnt try stylist artwork but did 100% copy drawing. guess it didnt work well cuz it doesnt even look like an artwork, which isnt a good thing. 4 hours.

Fireman? what

first digital drawing character for the course, sucked cos our intuos4 is still not here and we had to borrow some retro wacom which felt so weird. my first time using a tablet and the experience was bad, thought that all tablet felt like that.. in the end i used mouse to do everything. dono wad name to call it so i call it Fireman lol

Life Drawing

Last of foundation drawing for the course, very tiring cos it starts at night. was hoping there would be male for me to learn but every class is the same female model, sian.
*some are pencil drawings and the rest are done by pen, john said learning pen would help greatly in strokes. Cool
